Logout Guide

This guide helps you understand the logout process in ClassCraft AI, outlining the two options available for managing your session and their implications.

Logout Options​

When you click the Logout button, a pop-up will appear offering two choices:

1. Sign out of App​

  • Logs you out of ClassCraft AI only.
  • Your Microsoft session remains active, meaning you stay signed in to other Microsoft services such as Office, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Recommended if:
    • You plan to continue using other Microsoft services on the same device.
    • You are on a secure, personal device.

2. Sign out of Microsoft​

  • Logs you out of ClassCraft AI and also ends your active Microsoft session.
  • You will be signed out of all connected Microsoft services in the browser, including Office, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • To access these services again, you will need to log in.
  • Recommended if:
    • You are using a shared or public device.
    • You want to ensure no one else can access your Microsoft account after logging out.

Cancelling Logout​

If you clicked Logout by mistake, click Cancel in the pop-up to remain signed in to both ClassCraft AI and Microsoft services.

⚠️ Important:
Signing out of Microsoft ends all browser sessions linked to your Microsoft account. You will need to re-authenticate to access any Microsoft services or log back into ClassCraft AI.

Example Workflow​

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the screen and click your name or profile icon.
  2. Select Logout from the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose your preferred logout option:
    • Sign out of App to log out from ClassCraft AI only.
    • Sign out of Microsoft to log out from ClassCraft AI and all Microsoft services.
  4. Confirm your choice or click Cancel to abort the logout process.
