The Accessibility Widget in ClassCraft AI enhances the usability of the platform for users with disabilities or diverse needs. It provides a range of customisation options to improve accessibility and allow users to tailor the interface to their specific requirements. Settings applied through the widget are retained for the duration of your session.

How to Access the Accessibility Widget​

  1. Locate the Accessibility Icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen (a green circle with an accessibility symbol).
  2. Click the icon to open the Accessibility Menu.
  3. Use the available tools to customise your experience.

Alternatively, you can press CTRL + U on your keyboard to open the Accessibility Menu.

Features of the Accessibility Widget​

1. Contrast​

  • Cycles through contrast levels to improve text visibility.
  • Levels: Default, High Contrast, Black & White.
  • Green lights signify the current contrast level.

3. Bigger Text​

  • Adjusts text size incrementally.
  • Levels: Default, Larger, Extra Large, Oversized.

4. Text Spacing​

  • Increases spacing between letters, words, and lines to reduce visual clutter.

5. Pause Animations​

  • Disables animations and dynamic content, reducing visual distractions.

6. Hide Images​

  • Removes images from the page, leaving only text content visible.

7. Dyslexia-Friendly​

  • Applies a dyslexia-friendly font to improve readability for users with dyslexia.

8. Line Height​

  • Adjusts line height for improved text readability.
  • Levels: Default, Moderate, High.

9. Text Align​

  • Changes text alignment to left, centre, or justified.
