🚀 5-Minute Tutorial: Get Started with ClassCraft AI

Welcome to ClassCraft AI! In just 5 minutes, you'll discover how easy it is to generate engaging learning resources, streamline your teaching workflow, and collaborate with the community. Follow these steps to get started!

Step 1: Sign In and Explore the Dashboard​

  1. Sign in to ClassCraft AI:

    • Click Login in the top-right corner of any public page.
    • Use your organisational Microsoft account. If you're already signed in on a managed device, simply click Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • Some users may need to grant permissions during their first login.

  2. After logging in, explore the Dashboard, your central hub for:

    • Accessing tools by category (e.g., Planning, In-Class).
    • Viewing your Usage and Time Saved stats.
    • Checking your favourites, history, and API usage.

💡 Tip: Use the search bar to quickly find a tool or apply filters to focus on specific needs.

Step 2: Choose and Use a Tool​

  1. Browse the tools from the Dashboard or use the sidebar to filter by categories (e.g., Assessment, Research).
  2. Select a tool to view its description and launch it.

Example: YouTube-Based Resources​

  • Turn any YouTube video into tailored teaching activities.
    1. Paste a YouTube URL.
    2. Add your custom parameters (e.g., "Focus on practical applications").
    3. Click Generate to create resources in seconds.

💡 Tip: Favourite tools you love by clicking the heart icon to quickly access them later.

Step 3: Download and Save Your Work​

  1. Once the resource is generated:

    • Review the content and make any necessary tweaks.
    • Download your file in formats like PDF, DOCX, or H5P.

  2. For tools like Lesson Plans or Multiple Choice Questions:

    • Files are only generated when you click Download, so download immediately if needed.

  3. Access generated files on the History page:

    • Go to History from the dropdown menu.
    • Filter by generator name or browse past resources.
    • Files are retained for 30 days if previously downloaded.

Step 4: Track Your History and Feedback​

  1. Use the History page to:

    • Review all resources you've created.
    • Re-download files for supported tools (e.g., PowerPoint or H5P).

  2. Provide quick feedback on tools:

    • Leave a comment or suggestion directly on a tool’s page to help us improve.

Step 5: Join the Community with "Suggest a Tool"​

  1. Go to the Suggest a Tool feature from the dashboard.
  2. Share your ideas for new tools or upvote existing suggestions.
    • Describe your idea and explain how it would benefit educators like you.
    • Help shape ClassCraft AI by contributing to its development.

💡 Tip: Use this feature to collaborate with peers and drive innovation in teaching.

Bonus: Accessibility for All Users​

Enable the Accessibility Widget in the bottom-right corner for features like:

  • Contrast adjustments.
  • Dyslexia-friendly fonts.
  • Text spacing and line height customisation.

Your settings remain active for the session and can be reset anytime.
