Using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to create resources tailored to specific unit or module specifications. This feature combines stored data with AI to generate accurate and relevant teaching materials.

What is RAG?​

RAG enables ClassCraft AI to access specific unit specifications (e.g., SQA, VTCT) and use them to generate content directly aligned with curriculum requirements.

Steps to Use RAG​

  1. Select a Unit/Module:

    • Use the search bar in the Generators section to find the relevant unit or module.
    • Select the unit, which attaches its specifications to your request.

  2. Generate Content:

    • Open a tool like the Lesson Planner or Feedback Writer.
    • The selected unit specification will be automatically included in the AI's prompt.

  3. Review Results:

    • Verify that the generated content aligns with the curriculum.
    • Edit or refine the output if needed.

Example Use Case​

  • Select "Unit 123: Digital Marketing Basics".
  • Generate a lesson plan focused on the learning outcomes of this unit.
  • The output will include activities, assessments, and materials aligned with the unit's objectives.
