The Lesson Objectives Tool in ClassCraft AI allows educators to quickly generate high-quality, measurable learning objectives for a subject, topic, or specific learning outcome. This tool is designed to streamline the process of objective creation, saving valuable planning time while ensuring that objectives align with unit outcomes and educational goals.

How to Use the Tool

Step 1: Configure

  1. Search for a Unit (Optional):

    • Use the search bar to find and select a relevant unit.
    • Example: Bricklaying: Arch Construction (F8MC34)
    • The tool will retrieve the unit specification and display a confirmation message:
      "Unit specification retrieved successfully."
  2. Specify the Focus, Topic, or Outcome:

    • Enter a specific focus, topic, or outcome to guide the objective generation.
    • Example: Outcome 2: Construct and evaluate arches.
  3. Select the Number of Objectives:

    • Choose the desired number of objectives to generate (e.g., 1–10).

Step 2: Generate Content

  1. Click the Generate button to create your objectives.
  2. The tool will process your input and display a progress bar.
  3. Once complete, the generated objectives will appear below.

Step 3: Review and Refine

  1. Review the generated objectives.
    Example Output:

  2. Set out full-size templates for Gothic, Three-Centred, and Bull’s Eye arches, ensuring accuracy according to the provided specifications.

  3. Cut voussoirs to the specified shapes and dimensions for the respective arch types, maintaining a tolerance of ±2mm as required.

  4. Construct the arches following safe working practices and maintaining specified tolerances during the building process.

  5. Demonstrate the ability to minimize waste during the arch construction process and dispose of materials according to sustainability guidelines.

  6. Evaluate completed arch work against specified tolerances, ensuring all joints are consistent and facework meets the required finish without smudging.

  7. If the objectives need adjustment, refine your input and click Generate again.

  • Use the Start Over button to reset the configuration if necessary.

Step 4: Export

  1. Click the Download DOCX button to save your objectives in a Word document.
  2. Share the document with colleagues, include it in lesson plans, or print it for classroom use.
